  • Individuals and small groups do not need to book. However, if you are bringing a group of 10 or more, we kindly ask that you contact us in advance to arrange your visit and ensure we can support your spiritual needs.

  • There is no charge to attend Mass or visit the Shrine. Donations are always welcome and help us maintain the grounds and facilities.

  • The main pilgrimage season runs from May to October, though pilgrims are welcome throughout the year. The shrine grounds remain open in all seasons, weather permitting.

  • Yes. Mass is offered daily at St Mary’s RC Church. The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available on request. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament also takes place regularly.

  • The Shrine has partial wheelchair access, including to the gardens and Ladyewell House ground floor. Please contact us ahead of time for specific needs or assistance.

  • Coaches should park at St Mary’s Church. Private vehicles should use the main car park 400 yards from the Shrine. Only disabled badge holders may use the drop-off area at the Shrine.

  • A small tearoom is available in Ladyewell House during open hours (Wednesday to Saturday). Pilgrims are also welcome to bring their own food and use the picnic areas respectfully.

  • Yes. Holy water from the well is available for pilgrims to collect. Bottles are available in the shrine shop for your convenience.

  • Comfortable shoes are recommended, especially if joining a Rosary walk. Weather-appropriate clothing is advisable, as much of the Shrine is outdoors. Bringing a rosary and prayer book may also enhance your experience.

  • The grounds are generally open daily, but may close during extreme weather for safety. Please check the website or call ahead during winter months.
